Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility: films released theatrically in the UK between 13 February 2025 and 20 February 2026.
The Girls On Film Awards reward excellence in the field of inclusion, diversity and the representation of women and non-binary people. The Awards particularly celebrate complex women characters on screen.
In the category for Best Film sponsored by EON Productions we welcome nominations for women-led narratives that are either written or directed by a woman or non-binary person.
All named individual nominees should be women or non-binary. They can have worked on any film within the release window, including male-led features. The exception to this is the Ally Award sponsored by IMDb, which goes to a male-identifying ally in the film industry, who has demonstrated consistent commitment to the representation of women.
All eligible films are listed on the FDA site.
