Girls On Film Awards 2022

The 2022 Girls on Film Awards were celebrated at a glittering ceremony held at the beautiful Garden Cinema in London in March, bringing together an audience of industry luminaries. The event honoured excellence across categories ranging from Female Friendship on Screen to Best Female Orgasm on Film, and featured speeches from some of the industry’s most admired filmmakers, including Sarah Gavron (Rocks) and Philippa Lowthorpe (Misbehaviour).

Recognising outstanding achievement in feminism, inclusion and diversity, female representation, and the female gaze, the awards reflected the core values of Girls on Film. Films were eligible if they were released between the launch of Girls On Film on 2 October 2018, and 4 February 2022.
